Elvora Capital was founded in October 2025 in Adelaide, South Australia. It is a single-director Pty Ltd whose only activity is trading its own book and publishing the research that informs those decisions.
Elvora Capital is a private investment company. We trade our own book in global equities, hold positions for years, and concentrate capital where conviction is highest.
Two themes anchor the book — AI infrastructure and energy transition — but the discipline travels. We'll buy anything when the market mis-prices it: healthcare when sentiment turns on a single name, insurance when the cycle goes against the strongest underwriters, consumer staples when the market loses interest in slow growth, financials when rates compress multiples below replacement value. The screen never changes: durable economics, sound balance sheet, a price that asks too much of the bear case. Patience is the edge, not the thesis. The thesis is that good businesses bought at the right price compound for a very long time — and that the right price arrives more often than the market remembers.
The publication exists because the research existed first. We were already writing notes to ourselves before every sizing decision. Publishing those notes — in a form careful enough to defend in public — sharpens the thinking and creates a record we can hold ourselves to.
If you arrived here looking for buy / sell signals or a portfolio to copy, this is not that. The work here is about the frameworks behind decisions, not the decisions themselves. The frameworks travel; the decisions don't.
Most positions are held for years. Most weeks have nothing worth publishing. We write when the work is finished, not when the calendar demands it. If a research note is published, it is because we believed it added something a reader couldn't easily find elsewhere — not because seven days passed.
Every holding is tracked through a documented quality framework, with explicit thesis-break triggers recorded at the time of sizing. The bar for adding a new position is high; the bar for keeping one through a thesis change is higher.
Elvora Capital is owned and operated by Eeman Saleem, sole director, public officer, and shareholder. The company was incorporated in October 2025 to formalise an investment activity that had been running personally for several years prior.
There are no employees, no contractors, and no external advisers writing for the publication. Every word published under Elvora Capital is written by the director.
